Marta Benito Velasco, PhD. She holds a PhD in Food Quality, Safety and Technology. Graduate in Food Sciences and Technology and in Human Nutrition and Dietetics. Her doctoral thesis was on the different factors affecting extra virgin olive oil quality. She has wide experience in the olive oil field and in the field of food analysis by several modern and chromatographic techniques, such as GC and HPLC, which resulted in several publications in international journals. After obtaining the doctorate, she worked as a researcher at the University of Zaragoza and since 2014 she has been Project Manager at Ctic Cita. She has participated in several R&D projects dealing with food quality acquiring extensive experience in the coordination, technical development and management of successful projects, including projects financed by the EC and private projects at the multinational level.
Carlos Hernandez Muñoz, Graduate. Graduate in Gastronomy and Culinary arts in Basque Culinary Center (San Sebastián). After working several years as a chef in many restaurants, many of them with Michelin stars, he has been working as Project Manager and Product developer in Ctic Cita. He has participated in several R&D projects dealing with food improvement and new food products development, acquiring extensive experience in the coordination, technical development and management of projects.
M rs. Ana Iglesias is a Pharmacist (2007) and holds a Master Degree in Pharmaceutical Industry.
She has been working as R&D project manager for more than 8 years, both in Health and Research projects in the Center for Applied Medical Research (CIMA) and in innovation projects in Ctic Cita.
Ana Iglesias is specialized in the management and administrative aspects as well as the proposal writing. In 7PM and H2020, she has managed two ERC Starting Grants, more than 10 Collaborative European Projects, 11 Marie Curie Actions, 4 ERANET´s as well as several national and different INTERREG projects (POCTEFA,SUDOE and Interreg Europe)
Dr. Miriam Caro, is a PhD in Chemistry by the University of La Rioja (2003), where she stayed as research personnel. From 2003 and 2005 she worked as Technical Director in Karey. From 2005 until now, she works on the R&D department of CTIC-CITA, initially as R&D Technical, and currently coordinates the Ingredients Area. During this time she has accumulate vast experience on the coordination and development of regional, national and European projects.
